Draco's secret

I don't think Draco is a DE.

I think Draco is a werewolf.

All the same clues...
discuss! :-)

umm... he was 'missing' for long periods of time.. we do not know whether it was at the full moon or not. It could have been, some of the time.

Fenrir could have bitten him on his left arm... She readily admits to using red herrings.

He, a Malfoy, would certainly loathe being turned into a werewolf. Remember when he threatened Borgin with him? He claimed he was a family friend, but when he came into Hogwarts, it very much distressed Draco. He doesn't like him.

He could easily be the 'master' who is going to kill his entire family if he doesn't do as he says.

OK.. so I admit, Snape and Bellatrix knew that Voldy had given him a task... but the whole thing ISN'T as farfetched as you would like to make it seem.

He WAS sick a lot... stressed I guess.. *shrug*

I am not ready to abandon this quite yet. It made too much sense yesterday.. *damn second chapter anyhow*

Wasn't he missing for long periods of time because he was in the room of necessity? It would be cool if he were a werewolf, but I'm not convinced.

I loved your theory about Snape's parents. Ingenious.

Has the theory that Snape is a vampire been dispelled by JKR? Because I noticed that in HBP, he's described as looking like a giant bat. I still adhere to this theory.

Buddy,
I am pretty sure JKR said Snape isn't a vampire, but I'm with you.. I still see it as plausible. I would have to go back and look for that part of the interview, to see if she ixnayed it for real or if she 'double-talked' around it, like she usually does.

As far as Draco... Sure, Harry thinks he is in the Room of Requirement when he isn't on the Map.. but we don't SEE that. I think he went there when he had his 'girls' with him, or when one of them was 'standing guard' by the tapestry. And obviously he was in there whooping it up when Trelawney came to call on the fateful night.. Or was he?

Did anyone SEE him? Yah.. Ginny did later.. but I meant THEN.. These are the kind of gaps JKR eventually fills in differently than we originally thought.. (Snape in bk1, anyone?)

I think we have been carefully led down the path to DE!Draco, but I just think there are too many assumptions to leap all the way to DE.

In all books, Draco despises anyone not pure-blood. He has nothing but derision for Lupin, BECAUSE he is a werewolf, etc. Now, how does that lend to Draco suddenly embracing Fenrir? Fenrir, imo, has to have been forced on him, in some fashion.

Perhaps Voldy decided to send Fenrir along to make sure Draco didn't stray from his task? Was Fenrir sent along to kill Draco and family if he didn't succeed? Did Draco make a pact with Fenrir, to save himself, in exchange for someone else? I just wonder..
I highly doubt Fenrir is a close family friend, like Draco told Borgin.... unless Fenrir is his blood brother now..

AND.. IF Draco had been bitten on the arm so recently that it was still tender/sore, then perhaps he had never transformed yet.. etc.. I could see his entire perspective changing, based on that. He would loathe what he had become.

Maybe he did just make the deal with Voldy to kill D'dore, but maybe he made some sort of deal with Fenrir also.. and part of the reason he was crying to Myrtle, was that he knew he would have to turn himself over to Fenrir if he didn't do "------". Honestly, what else would make Draco cry??

Ok.. catch you later!

Buddy,
BTW, thank you for the comment about Snape's parents. That was pretty inspired, if I do say so myself. LOL

If any random people want to see that, it is at racie's blog..

Clearly you've thought it through, but I'm not quite on board yet. We'll have to wait and see.

I guess JKR did deny that Snape is a vampire, but I think she's wrong.
